FCA (Food Contact Additives) is an Industry Association organised as a Sector Group under the umbrella of Cefic (European Chemical Industry Council) in Brussels. FCA represents producers and users of additives used in the various food contact applications.

OBJECTIVES
FCA promotes together with other members of the value chain the safe use of food contact materials additives in various food contact materials applications as well as in materials in contact with drinking water. Food contact additives are essential substances needed to achieve a physical or chemical effect during the production or in the final food contact material or article. The safe use of these additives is ensured by means of internationally recognized scientific principles on Risk Assessment.
