EMPA – European Melamine Producers Association

On 27 May 2025 Cefic decided, in accordance with its Statutes and internal rules, to withdraw the European Melamine Producers Association (“EMPA”) from the list of associations recognized as Sector Groups of Cefic, due to the falling number of Members affiliated to EMPA, and therefore not fulfilling the Cefic’s minimum requirements on Sector Group composition. The former Members of EMPA remain active Members of Cefic, engaging in different activities and structures. Cefic will support the melamine producing Members with the transfer of EMPA’s activities.
