“Chemistry for Mobility Europe” is a Sector Group representing European producers of chemical substances used in automotive applications. It operates as a Sector Group of Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council.

OBJECTIVES
- Act as the collective voice of its members in the Global Automotive Stakeholders Group (GASG) representing their joint interest in regulatory and technical discussions affecting the automotive supply chain.
- Serve as the secretariat of the EMEA GASG (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), including its Steering Committee and Technical Team.
- Monitor regulatory developments, especially those related to substances used in automotive applications and the EU Directive on End-of-Life of Vehicles.
- Engage with relevant industry tools and systems, such as IMDS and CATENA-X.
